Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of a deposit (unless otherwise agreed).
Final payment must be completed before the start of the tour.


2. Payment Methods

Payments can be made via bank transfer (Swiss or Ethiopian accounts), or other approved methods.
All bank charges are the responsibility of the client.


3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • More than 50 days before the tour: 60% cancellation fee applies (40% refund).

  • 30–49 days before the tour: 70% cancellation fee (30% refund).

  • 15–29 days before the tour: 50% refund.

  • Less than 15 days before the tour: No refund.

  • No refunds for unused services, no-shows, or early departures.


4. Tour Amendments

Changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, local conditions).
Suitable alternatives will be arranged where possible, but specific services cannot be guaranteed.


5. Travel Insurance

All clients are required to have valid travel insurance covering medical needs, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.


6. Health & Safety

Clients must inform Spectrum Ethiopia Tours of any medical conditions or dietary restrictions when booking.
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are fit to join the tour.


7. Liability

Spectrum Ethiopia Tours is not responsible for delays, accidents, losses, or damages beyond our control (e.g., airline issues, political unrest, natural disasters).
We act only as an agent for hotels, transport providers, and other service partners and are not liable for their actions.


8. Visas and Entry Requirements

It is the client’s responsibility to obtain all necessary visas and ensure compliance with Ethiopian entry requirements.


9. Photography & Marketing

Photos taken during tours may be used for marketing purposes unless clients request otherwise in writing.


10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by Ethiopian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Ethiopian courts.
